turtle(海龜) 爬行時超可愛的啦!可是如果把它翻過來了,它可就四腳朝天,啥也做不了了!
成語故事:
海龜幾乎都在海中生活,只有產卵時期才會上岸,人們為了捕捉海龜,就會趁它們上岸時將牠們一隻隻翻過來,使四腳朝天的海龜動彈不得,這樣的情形被英國的船員看到,便把"turn turtle"比喻為翻船囉!在現代英語中也引申翻車哦
